ArtHouse

ArtHouse Crouch End is a new independent cultural venue in London mixing cinema, theatre and music, it provides a unique place for its community.

01.The Objectives

Other than actually building a cinema, we also needed to create a brand, an identity and a website that would allow customers to book tickets online. With no experience in the cinema industry, a considerable amount of time had been spend studying what other cinemas do, how their sites were organised and created user flows. The big difference between the ArtHouse and a regular cinema, is that the ArtHouse is not just a cinema, but also offers live shows and therefore the site needed to work for both type of listings.

02.7 days view

This is the most important feature of the site. Most people will book tickets on the same day. The tab view allows customers to see instantly the full programme of the day with times and book. Additional information for each show and screening is also available to help the customer. It was important to get the same information on mobile.

03.Wordpress

The site is powered by wordpress. I created a custom template for this project. I worked with a developper to create a custom plugin that pulls the data from the ticketing system and then allow me to manipulate and display that information howerve I want
